Visitor Attractions
Northern Ireland has an amazing variety of landscapes, cultural attractions and
leisure opportunities as well as an intriguing – and famously complex
– history, all contained in an area the size of Yorkshire or Connecticut.
Within a few hours of Belfast, one can visit pre-Christian burial sites, famous
cathedrals and coastlines of legend.
The Times of London has named Belfast as one of its top 12 world travel
destinations, its Impressive world-class developments adding immeasurably to
the city’s image. The mighty £100 million Odyssey complex, the Waterfront
Hall, new galleries, new public and private developments – they are all
part of the transformation and must be seen to be believed.
Home to the world’s oldest aircraft production company and the city where
the Titanic, the tractor and the tyre were created, Belfast may now be more
aptly described at the city of telecoms, technology
and trading.
