I am a senior lecturer in computer science in the School of Electronics, Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at Queen's University Belfast. I am a member of the Knowledge and Data Engineering research cluster within the school. I teach databases and data mining techniques for data analytics at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels.

My current research interests are centred around Data Science (Web data extraction and integration; social media/network analysis; graph mining and network analysis; information extraction and text analytics; record linkage and deduplication; recommender systems) and Autonomous Systems (online planning; multi-agent systems).
