I am a senior lecturer of computer science in the School of Electronics, Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at Queen's University Belfast. I am a member of the Knowledge and Data Engineering research cluster within the school. I teach databases and data mining techniques for data analytics at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels.

My main research interests are in the areas of artificial intelligence (planning, multi-agent systems, reasoning under uncertainty and machine learning), data management and analytics (Web data extraction, integration and mining; social media/network mining; entity extraction and sentiment analysis in enterprises; business analytics), Web mining (link analysis, Web page clustering), and recommender systems.
